We started our study of Oceans and Beaches a little last week with our new library books and a few art projects. This was the first project...we made sunglasses to "wear at the beach." It was a fun, cheap activity that I picked up at Michael's.
C's sunglasses are a fish, H's have sea horses, and
Z's have sea shells and a tropical flower.
I found "Sea Life" sand forms that they've been using to transfer pompoms and pretending that it's food.
We have several printed activities from my fave websites that we will do throughout the rest of the month. The books have been fun to read and learn more about the beach and oceans. The activities are just for fun mostly with a little learning thrown in.
