Fallen Leaves Inspire Lesson.

There are lots of pictures from today.  I found my old leaves unit in the attic while cleaning and decided to do it again.  They really enjoyed the songs, the matching games and, especially, the magnet pictures.

Is there a ghost in our house??  Cutest one I ever saw!

RJ is enjoying all the leaf learning, as in, she is ready to get dressed and go outside to play in them!  They each found a leaf carrier & searched for the perfect leaves in the yard.

There was lots of leaf stomping & throwing too!

Ready, set, create!  They made leaf collages today.  We’ll do a more structured craft with leaves tomorrow.

Next, we decided to play in the back yard.  They wanted to rake up a pile of leaves & we made a good one!  H jumped over Mr. C and made it!  Ta Da!

Just some more leaf pile pictures…fun, fun.

We had fun rehashing the leaves lesson elements!  We even talked about conifers, broad leaf, and evergreen trees.  Who knows how much they will remember tomorrow, but we had fun while learning!
