St. Patrick's

Saint Patrick's Day is a fun sort of holiday.  We read about his life & talked about the holiday from a historical and Christian viewpoint.  In real life, it's not much to celebrate these days, but it does have a history worth mentioning to the kiddos, so we talked about it & did some crafts.

I found a new cereal at Reasor's called Whole Hearts & we used them to make shamrocks on some green paper.  The circles were foam & we made little "buttons" to wear to the library that week.  We wrote Happy Saint Patrick's Day & their names on them.  The kiddos liked them & that's what mattered to me!

Our new Morning Message routine looks like this:

Pepper Prints

Finished Sandpaper Artwork & extra decorations.
